Asset Schema Library Privacy Policy

Overview
Flight Crew Asset Schema Manager (“the App”) is a Forge app for Atlassian Jira Service Management. This policy describes how the App handles data.
Data Collection
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
The only data stored by the App is:
- License key hash — A SHA-256 hash of the license key entered by the user, stored in Forge App Storage (scoped to your Atlassian site). The plaintext license key is never stored.
Data Processing
When you import a schema, the App creates object types and attributes in your JSM Assets workspace using the Atlassian Assets API. All API calls are made on behalf of the authenticated user via Forge’s api.asUser() mechanism.
The App does not:
- Access or read existing Assets data
- Export or transmit any data outside your Atlassian environment
- Use cookies or tracking technologies
- Share data with third parties
Data Storage
All data remains within your Atlassian cloud environment. The App uses Forge App Storage, which is managed by Atlassian and scoped to your site. No data is stored on Flight Crew Consulting servers.

The App requests the following Atlassian scopes:

Data Retention
License key hashes persist in Forge App Storage until the App is uninstalled. Uninstalling the App removes all stored data.
Imported schemas (object types and attributes) remain in your Assets workspace and are not affected by uninstalling the App.
